Configuration & Demonstration Tool (CDT)

Schlage Wireless Access maintains a Wireless Access product installer database. We use this database to keep our installers informed about new products, new features, new updates, and new tips and tricks. If you are an installer of wireless Access product and would like to be included in our installer database, please   register.

Configuration & Demonstration Tool (CDT) - The CDT runs in Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater and can be used to configure or demonstrate Schlage Wireless Access products. You'll need a Panel Interface Module (PIM) attached to a free serial port on your computer and one or more Wireless Access Point Modules (i.e. WA5200, WA5600, WA993, WRI-OTD-12VDC, WRI-IN-12VDC, WPR2, or WSM).

Note: This version of the CDT requires Microsoft Java Virtual machine (MSJVM). Due to legal issues with Sun, the Microsoft Java Virtual machine is no longer available directly from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/java/).

Depending on the version of PIM you have, a standard serial cable, two cables and a RS232 to RS485 converter, or two cables and a USB to RS485 converter are required to connect a PIM to a PC.

The CDT can be run either on-line (click below) or off-line by downloading an installation EXE file (see below).
